FAQ about US Depositions heard in Ireland
Can you provide Real-times?
We have a number of court reporters who are registered and qualified in Real-time, with the National Court Reporters Association. To date, we have provided this service to software such as CaseViewNet, LiveNote, BriefCase and Summation.
Can you provide transcripts in the US format / Page Layout?
We have multiple US and Canadian page layouts available to cover all depositions and discoveries. However if a hard copy is required, we require to be notified in advance, as the European A4 sheet is larger and narrower than US 'Letter'.
Can European court reporters swear in a witness?
Court Reporters in Europe normally never swear in the witness, as our court system provides Registrars for this purpose. Normally, we can organise a Notary Public to swear in the witness, which is recognised in a court of law in the US or Canada.
Can you create US compatible video disks and DVDs?
Yes. Our standard format is MPEG1 video files. Alternatively, on request, we can provide PAL or NTSC-compatible DVDs or MP4 files, for playback on iPods and smart phones.
Can you organise accommodation and venue for attorneys and clients?
We have a long history with many of the surrounding hotels and conference centres in Dublin and can organise all your meeting requirements and accommodation needs.
