Aoife Ni Fhearghaíl
Aoife Ni Fhearghaíl is the Managing Director of Doyle Court Reporters. After joining in 1992, she assumed overall responsibility for business operations in 2001.
Her prior experience in a fast-moving Dublin law practice was a perfect introduction to the demanding and exacting nature of court work, legal professionals and the Judiciary.
From the outset, Aoife saw an opportunity to improve the business through innovation. She spent her early years at DCR focused on bringing in new business processes, tools and technologies, in line with international legal standards. She spent time in the UK and US learning the new tools of the trade. She also built long-lasting relationships with technology vendors and industry leaders, establishing DCR as a leader in the field.
Her experiences and vision soon reaped rewards, when in 1992, DCR introduced new transcription search technology to major tribunals, thereby improving the speed and efficiency of proceedings.
In 1993, Aoife led DCR to launch the first realtime transcription service in Ireland, which quickly won new business outside the legal arena, including work with RTE, captioning TV shows.
Highly knowledgeable, articulate and very dynamic, Aoife continues to place clients’ needs at the heart of DCR. Its success in the complex field of legal transcription and realtime captioning of major international events is a tribute to Aoife's persistence for quality, reliability and world-class service.
